WHATS HAPPENED?
Warner Bros. Discovery Sports and the UCI have announced that the 2026 UCI Enduro World Cup will be the last under its current structure. While the World Championship title races will continue in 2026 and 2027, the regular World Cup season is being discontinued.
This leaves a gap in the pathway from national enduro races to the Enduro World Championships.
ENDURO UNITED
THE PATHWAY FORWARD
To protect the core identity of our sport and maintain a sustainable global standard, Enduro United is stepping forward to unite organizers, venues, and athletes.
Built From Enduro, For Enduro, Enduro United plans to deliver a world cup level circuit, the Global Enduro Series, alongside a global tier framework designed to unite the entire sport. By linking grassroots events, national series, and continental championships into a structured qualifying ladder, the framework creates a direct pathway to the Global Enduro Series, which in turn aims to serve as the exclusive official pathway to the annual UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Championships. Together, this ecosystem will provide riders, teams, host destinations, and commercial partners with a unified, sustainable global calendar.

WHO IS INVOLVED?
Enduro United is a premier initiative led by Enrico Guala, Ludovic Henry, Alex Balaud and Adrian Greiner. As they are the spearhead in setting up the right plattform for international enduro racing, Enduro United is working with an international steering board where North America, Oceania and Europe is represented. EDR UTD is aiming at growing this steeringboard to ensure proper representation around the globe.
It has been a natural gathering of individuals that share a common vision and bring together different and complementary skills. As active mountain bikers, we felt the urgency to connect and talk about the discipline of Enduro. With several years of experience on all the different aspects of Mountain Bike Enduro, from trail design and trail planning, destination development, racing background, team managing and communication, the meetings has been no short of excitement and shared motivations that led to the natural birth of the newly formed entity.
"Since the announcement of WBDS, we have spent countless hours engaging with the community, industry, athletes and venues, and have given this endeavour careful consideration. We took our time to build a common understanding, and we believe we have a strong initial setup for 2027 and laid a solid foundation for future developments.”
